Collision Fundraiser Poster-making Session 2

Date: Friday April 3rd from 5:00-8:00pm

Details: Red Cross will have a big all-day fundraiser in April: help make posters in advance to publicize the event! Also, we will be posting fliers around schools.

Club Day Signups!!

For Club Day this Friday lunch, LHS Red Cross will be selling yummy brownie sundaes for only $2! (So don't forget to drop by and support our club!)
Volunteer during club day:
1) If you are interested in volunteering at our booth during lunch (help scoop ice cream!), leave a comment and include a shift (It's be best if you can sign up with a buddy: one person has shift one and the other has shift two) There are 2 spots open for the first half of lunch, and 3 spots open for the second half.
2) Club day donations (drop off your donations on Friday before 1st period to room 002)
You can sign up to bring: Brownies, Syrup, Sprinkles, Spoons, and Bowls (especially brownies and syrup!). Leave a comment if you can bring anything, and yes, you do get hours :)

Red Cross Collision Fundraiser Poster Event

Date: Sunday March 29, from 1:00-5:00pm
Location: Eisenhower Elementary's "Cement Circle" (277 Rodonovan Drive Santa Clara, CA)
Details: Red Cross will have a big all-day fundraiser in April: help make posters in advance to publicize the event! It would be helpful if you could bring glitter, paint, paintbrushes, and other crafts supplies. Also, wear clothes you can get paint on! If you're artistic, this will be a great activity for you! Also, food will be provided.

Lifelong Fitness Alliance Walk

Date: March 22nd 8:00am-11:00am
Location: PAC 10 Plaza, on Nelson Road, off Galvez, between theStanford Stadium and Angel Field track
Details: Help out at a walk and receive a free t-shirt! If volunteering, on the day of the event, go to the "Volunteer Check In" table to receive your t-shirts, sign a waiver, and receive specific instructions on your assignment. We need more volunteers for this event, so we'd appreciate it if you sign up for this one :)

Details: Be a shopping guide in which you serve as a guide for needy families in our community to "shop" for items with the tickets they've been given!

Middle School Fair

Location/Time: Middle School in San Jose (specific school TBA; we will email)

Details: Volunteers will help out setting up and running the Red Cross booth!

Children of War Symposium

Date: Saturday, March 7th

Locations / Times:
Option 1: Stanford Law School Rm 109, 9AM-12PM
Option 2: Santa Clara University Daly Science Center Rm 207, 2-5PM

Details:
Attend this symposium to learn about the psychological and physical repercussions of war on children. You will learn more about the International Red Cross' role and become more aware of important global events. Check out the flyer on the YahooGroup.
