First Aid Fun day

First Aid Fun day signups (esp. shift 2) are still open! This is a once in a year chance to become first aid certified! (There's a CPR traning later on in the year)

Kidpower photos

Pictures from the Kidpower event held on October 12th! Kidpower is an event where high school Red Cross volunteers teach kids about basic aid (rescue breathing, fire safety, dealing with cuts and wounds, poison safety, and more!) There will be several more opportunities to volunteer at Kidpower and BAT (Basic Aid Training) events later on in the year.To see more pictures click [here]!

Marsh Maddness!

Activity- YMCA Marsh Maddness!

When: Saturday October 25th, 7:00 AM- 10:00 AM

What: Volunteers will stand on the course of the race and distribute water to the runners, as well as direct runners in the right path.

Details on First Aid Funday

Remember, First Aid or CPR Certification is one of the requirements to get a cord Senior year! Your first chance will be:

San Jose, CA 95134)

We have emailed instructions through the YahooGroup on how to sign up for the activity. If you are interested in attending, please do so ASAP!

Salvation Army Barrel Preparation

When: Saturday Oct 18, 2008

1) 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Where: The Salvation Army Santa Clara County,
359 N. 4th Street, San Jose, CA 95112 (approx 15 min away)
Details: Sort Barrels into various categories, dust off, paint, and re-poster barrels for The Salvation Army's holiday toy and food programs!
Hours: 3 hours
