Details: Kidpower is a program that teaches elementary and middle school kids basic aid training. If you are a BAT (Basic Aid Traning) instructor, please consider attending this event! Non BAT-trained volunteers can attend as well to help out with sign-in, etc. If you are only able to volunteer during a portion of the event, please state so when signing up for this activity. In addition to posting on this website, also email the coordinator Christine (dinhtri53@yahoo.com) about volunteering and state your name and Lynbrook High School. She will actually register you, we will give you the hours.
In the email to Christine and on the post, please indicate whether you are Basic Aid Trained (thanks, Sam).

Remember to bring the receipts to the October 22nd meeting for hours!

Rock n' Roll Marathon

When: Saturday October 4th and Sunday October 5th
Shifts:
1) Oct. 4 -- 8:00am-1:30pm
2) Oct. 4 -- 12:30pm-6:00pm
3) Oct. 5 -- 5:30am-1:30pm
Where: San Jose McEnery Convention Center
Details: Its IMPORTANT that you sign up on the Rock n' roll marathon website online here , in addition to signing up on our club website. The website also provides more information on this activity. Volunteers receive a free t-shirt and goodie bag for volunteering!

Bay Area Buddy Walk

First Meeting of the Year This Wednesday

Hey everyone!
Hope you all enjoyed your first few weeks of school! Please join us for our first meeting of the year this wednesday the 17th during brunch in Mr. Haywood's room, 002. Invite your friends to attend also if they seemed interested in joining Red Cross. For those of you who have not joined our yahoo group yet, you can do so by clicking the large blue box on the right hand side of this page. It should direct you to a page that asks you to fill out a bit of information and then one of the officers will gladly accept you into the yahoo group.
