Details: Sunday Friends helps provide items for low-income familires in our area. Help serve as guides for these families as they 'shop' for items.

Kidpower photos

Kidpower is an event where high school Red Cross volunteers teach kids about basic aid (rescue breathing, fire safety, dealing with cuts and wounds, poison safety, and more!) Kidpower

Details: Kidpower is a program that teaches elementary and middle school kids basic aid training. If you are a BAT (Basic Aid Traning) instructor, please consider attending this event! Non BAT-trained volunteers can attend as well to help out with sign-in, etc. If you are only able to volunteer during a portion of the event, please state so when signing up for this activity. In addition to posting on this website, also email the coordinator Christine (dinhtri53@yahoo.com) about volunteering and state your name and Lynbrook High School. She will actually register you, we will give you the hours.

First Meeting of the Year This Wednesday

Hope you all enjoyed your first few weeks of school! Please join us for our first meeting of the year this wednesday the 17th during brunch in Mr. Haywood's room, 002. Invite your friends to attend also if they seemed interested in joining Red Cross.
